Is anybody here willing to buy woodchuck meat for bait making? Just wondering if there is any market for it because I live on a farm and we kill probably about 50-75 woodchuck a year so if there is somebody willing to pay for the meat I can start to take it. I hate to see the animal go to waste. The only reason we get rid of them is because there holes tend to break our farm equipment.

Eat them. They're super good, seriously. I eat every one I can get my hands on.

I tossed a dead on on a bonfire once and I have to admit...it smelled pretty darn good.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I'm going to college this fall and I am trying to make as much money as I can so that I don't have as much debt plus my mom would never let me anywhere near her kitchen to let me cook one lol.

How on earth dose she expect you to grow up you never learn basic life skills like cooking? Young women theses days are empowered so don't expect it to be easy to find one that can cook from the start herself.

nesco in the garage or on the grill.

I did most of my wild game cooking on the grill when I was a kid , mom complained about rodents in her oven.

killed cooked and eaten while she was still at work.

you should really learn to cook , good life skill and you can get a lot of enjoyment of what you already haev to do every day , eat.

I've eaten quite a few in the past … tried to get the younger ones … not as large, but a lot better quality of meat. I have used a lot of it for turtle bait. Would cut it is strips and used it on hooks Take a 4 or 5 inch strip and twist it as you rank the hook through it. I t would stay on the hook much better than fish. Sometime we would let it taint for a couple of days in a glass jar in the sun. Don't let it get rotten just a slight taint to it. If you leave it in the jar more than a couple of days the jar can explode. I know because I did it once when I was a kid and got willow switch across my legs and rear end.

if you do decide to eat them...make sure you get the gland from under their front legs. If ya don't it will stink to high heaven.
