This would be great news. Wife just told me that mayo is going release a test Monday that tells if you had Covid-19 previously, and have already recovered from it. Some positive news for sure..

The cure for SARS-CoV, i.e. the HCQ (hydroxychloroquine) & Z-Pak (Azithromycin) cure, has been known since 2004.
The current strain of Corona virus everyone is talking about is a sister virus to SARS-CoV, called SARS-CoV-2, 2019-CoV, COVID-19, China virus, Corona virus, etc.
The cure has been shown effective for SARS-CoV-2 in trials in France and America.
It has a 100% cure rate in only six days.

Yes, it' say vaccine not cure. And it's far from the first claim. People have been making this claim for a month. And it really doesn't matter, by the time it is able to be used, we'll have forgotten about all of this.


This simply isn't true. It has shown to be quite effective, but not 100%. If it were this easy we wouldn't be in this situation. But hopefully more gets in circulation and it continues to prove fairly effective. But no "cure" is ever 100%.

That's why it's called a treatment, not a cure.

Corona will be back next flu season, that's why development of vaccines and treatments are so important.

They never developed a vaccine for the first SARS. It burned out and the funding burned out.

A couple Drs trying to get media attention does not equal a true "cure". I assumed this was all common knowledge by now, it's discussed daily on every news source there is.

I dont buy the nonsense that these doctors are trying to get media attention. They have talked about it at the task force briefings and I havent heard one official contradict either one of these doctors. As a matter of fact they are doing clinical trials on these drugs right now and are reporting very promising results. I agree with the French doctor who said we simply dont have time for clinical trials...start pushing these drugs now. One problem that I have herd mentioned is a shortage of these drugs, so that could be the real reason they are not giving these drugs to more people...

A company by the name of Moderna started a phase one human trial in mid march. They hope to start a phase two human trial this spring.
