I still sell eggs for $2dz. I found one of my long time regulars was buying eggs from me and others and selling them for $5/dz on facebook. I sent them a message, but no response. I won't be selling them any eggs anymore.

Fresh farm eggs they would not pay a little more for before have become cheaper now with the store eggs going higher.

I have friends that would get eggs now and then before that I about had to deliver them for free that come and get them now. The $1.25 store eggs are $3.25 now and I give mine away always have.

A few road projects in our area got started now rather than a month or two from now, taking advantage of the limited traffic right now.

I remember paying $10 for a gallon of white gas in King Salmon forty years ago. How do you guys afford that?

I used to buy Blazo by the 55G barrel back in the 70's. It was around 3$/G in that quantity at that time.

Hardly anyone uses it now. On the trapline I use candles and reserve my skinning for daylight hours when the temperature is too low to check traps. I do have a couple of lanterns but can't stand the hisssssssing noise or the smell when you shut them off.

It's tough to afford eggs but I buy them 30 dozen at a time. They still have to be flown in so that adds to the cost. But they are a bit cheaper that way. Lose a few but that happens at the store too.

Probably has a lot to do with it !. Unfortunately it won't help the price of corn next year. That too could be a nasty proposition
