If they can't return the equipment, they say they will pay to replace the equipment. That's all fine and dandy, but the Hospitals will still have to order the equipment . Things that could take Months to get shipped in. If someone needs to be on a ventilator, they need it now, not 2 Months from now.

You would think hospitals with a few in reserve would send that few to the city hospitals if they were paid for them. Maybe even if they are not. I am sure a few would not. Still curious if the NG intends to shoot administrators who refuse

I wonder how many are illegal immigrants , that the mayor requested ,are now victims of this epidemic.

People in the New York City metro area are obviously more important than the rest of the New York State residents.

What good is payment for an item that you need, if there is nothing on the open market to replace it with ?

That's how I took this.
A small hospital ( 100 beds ) in a county with few to no cases still has to treat the population it has. I just bet when they do have cases the big city folks are going to rush those right back up. If you believe that will happen I have a great deal on a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

They should be sent where needed when needed.
