So if you were dying because you needed one and the town down the road had 5 or 6 not being used,and they told your family-no you cant have it let him die-we might need them next week for someone maybe.

I agree with Boco. I would have made the same order. Resources go where most needed. More ventilators are on the way, but right now it's obviously faster to grab the unused ones already in the system.

Every hospital in the USA will need every ventilator they have for the next 3+ months......maybe not right away but eventually. You take them and your denying someone the use of it.....you can be sure that no hospital in NYC will be returning any this year...

Sending the military to take local resources for use somewhere else is pretty messed up when any sane person knows that those resources will be needed fairly soon.......and once they are taken they are gone forever.....the spread of kung flu is inevitable....

So now Cuomo tells us the state is broke and also that there is not enough ventilators, Just whose fault is that? Now they are shipping infected patients north out of the city.

That was the 9-11 Commission that stated NYC needed more ventilators to be prepared for catastrophe., and it was after SARS "if" I'm correct. No Governor since has heeded that advice. Instead spending on more popular issues to insure re-election.
