Removed castors this am . Will not use for bait until latter in summer. Let dry and freeze or freeze green.?Looked in archives but couldn’t find anything.

It's entirely up to you, I prefer freezing green and thawing in the fall and using fresh.

I would grind and make paste castor with some then dry and crush to powder the other amount. Both have good uses.

Hey Bob,
What is a good hanging time for castor pods on a wire .
About how many days.
To dry enough to grind and then add glycerin for a paste.

Temp and air flow will help to speed up the dry time. I find in my shop it will dry fairly quickly to my standards in 2-4 days. Size and volume of the castor in each pair will vary as to how fast they dry. I turn them every day. I hang mine on a heavy fiber cord
