Here's the kicker … I am not taking sides in this peeing match... I believe the government is doing what is the best for the people of the country. They are working with too many unknowns in the formulas. To most people, and many on here, speaking of the Government, it is h3ll if they do and h3ll if they don't. Those that condemn the Gov. for shutting down everything and requiring people to stay home... stop and look at it this way... If they hadn't taken this action and a couple of your kids, your wife/husband, mother/father or others dear to you. had continued working or going to school and they became infected and died... the government didn't do enough.
I very seldom side with governmental actions, but with this case I do in most part.
I have been reading, probably 25 different articles etc., about the 1918 flu. That killed a lot of people in the US and millions more around the world. It swept across areas of this country 3 times in a period of little more than a year. When they thought they had it whipped in one area it popped up in another. Be realistic, the people on the front lines are doing what they can and some people are faulting them because they actually have no idea what is going to happen, but they are being crucified by many. It is like a hurricane sitting off shore and the weatherman is trying to forecast where it is going to hit.... and people are demanding that they tell them exacting where it is going to hit, how high the wind will be, how much rain there be, how many will loose their homes and many will die.
The difference here... this storm... is hitting from all directions. Every time a plane landed from another country or ship landed or someone drove into the country from the north or south... they could be carrying the virus. For everyone that has all of the answer... should be very eager to run for office... put themselves on the front lines or volunteer their time and effort and explain to those working to stop this virus, exactly how they should do it and predict the outcome so that every naysayer will be satisfied with the outcome.
I am not pointing fingers at anyone on here or any other site I visit, but the story seems to be the same every where. God Bless America AND THOSE THAT ARE TRYING TO DO RIGHT by protecting you and your loved ones.

They are not stopping the virus. That cat is out of the bag. They are supposedly slowing it, which means it will get everywhere. The slowing process is to prevent hospitals from being overwhelmed and more unhealthy people will survive until the next virus. Repeat. The government's answer to saving unhealthy people, is what we question. Seems to me the government can tell the unhealthy what to do to save their own lives, but there is no reason to use force. If the unhealthy choose to risk getting the virus, then it is on them, not the rest of us. Even the unhealthy have a 9 out 10 chance of surviving. Those are good odds in Vegas.

I really don't believe anything on tv anymore. Take a drive and check out your local hospitals. Call them and ask what they see. Ask a Dr. or a nurse you may personally know. This is all turning out to be very minute from what I personally see in my area. Just sheep panicking and buying stupid crap like excess toilet paper and sanitizer so the rest of us normal people can't buy just the "1" package we need.

So worst case scenario 2miillion out of 330million dead. Take 330 toothpicks throw them out on the floor. Take 2 away. See if anybody besides Rain Man notices

No its serious. 2 cases in Cochrane last week-both hospitalized-one recovering the other dead-a 50 year old woman in perfect health. Perfect health? Apparently not if she died.

Tastes like cedar, lol.I put a spoon of brown sugar in it.It is also good with a spoon of honey or maple syrup. Some say not to add anything to get the full medicinal effect, but I have a sweet tooth and it is bitter taste to me without sweetner.

I just talked to my niece in NYC. Her hospital is over ran with COVID patients. Setting up tents outside, putting beds in the hallways. She is on her 5th, 12 hour shift this week. She told me in the next two weeks it’s going to really explode in NYC. She doesn’t know how many have died from it in her hospital though. She has lost two of her patients though. She told me it is more of the elderly and folks with underlying problems that are unable to fight it off though. This is her uniform of the shift though. Two masks and the shield. Thank her for fighting for her patients will you ?

Heard this from our local medical personnel... They are counting any death as a Covid-19 death if they test the body positive for it. If I get in an accident this evening and they test me for the virus and it’s positive then it’s a death in the virus column. Same with heart attack and suicide. And this is from someone who deals with it every day. Media inflating up the bullcrap as normal
