Dr in france has used it on a thousand patients, the chinese have used it on who knows how many people. Spain has apparently treated 70 plus percent of cases with it. Multiple other countries treating people with it. Doctors in this country have treated people with lupus or rheumatoid arthritis with it for decades, with little to no side effects.

Now why would it's use in this country be either held back or prohibited?

Up over ten thousand people dead now, how many of those people would have liked to try a dose?

Maybe someone, somewhere wants a high death toll?

There is no real money to be made with chloroquine, it's an old generic drug. The big pharmaceutical companies want something they can make billions of dollars on.

Governors are banning the use of it in their States because it might work and Trump supports it, the people should get a good idea of their worth if they live through the BS. Since when should a person whos not a Doctor tell people what meds to take of not take is that their job.

338 per million is the death rate in a city with 27 some thousand per square mile. A horrible problem with rats and cockroaches too. Just not adding up to a national emergency.

We get to 5000 deaths deaths per million, or 1/2 a percent, shutting down the whole country and running unemployment up to 30% or whatever it is, putting who knows how many small business's out of commission permanently, etc might be worthwhile. What we have instead is 338 deaths per million in the most crowded rat infested city in our country.

New Orleans is at 380 deaths per million. Another rat infested city. Only 1965 people per square mile.

This thread and all the conspiracy theories doesn't make sense to me. The synthetic quinine compounds ARE being widely used in the US to treat CV19 patients. This is addressed repeatedly by the CV19 team that says it's between you and your doctor whether to use the anti-malarial drugs. In many cases the restrictions put in place by Governors is to prevent hoarding to ensure those that need it on a regular basis can still get what they need. Regardless, there are many on the left, especially in the news services, that hope it doesn't work just because Trump touted i's possibilities.
