Son in law began Chemo yesterday for stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma,he will also be given new trial drugs.
Has anyone here gone through this.
My wife has gone through chemo for one type of cancer and radiation for another type--both times beating the disease. But I was wondering what my son in law can expect with the Lymphoma.

I have a nephew that was diagnosed with it about 18 years ago .He started his treatments in Feb of that year and they lasted until August He has been doing fine since .He would feel pretty bad the day after his treatments and feel better each day until his next one .I think he got his once every two weeks And as I said he has not had any problems since his treatments ended .His doctors told him it is one of the most treatable cancers

Tom, my best friend from high school was diagnosed almost 40 years ago...stage 3....still kicking today.
Chemo kicked his butt... day after or so felt better. He had in his lymph nodes in his neck.
Good luck!

My mom was diagnosed with stage 3 in 2010. Did the chemo and it didn't bother her a bit. She lost her hair but never got sick. 2018 diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Getting close to the end now
