Good for you for taking your business elsewhere hogwild, that's a terrible policy. You would think a rural farm store would have some common sense .

I think a lot of the big stores just come up with some ridicules rule so the can show the politicians they are doing something. That way they can stay open. It doesn't have to make sense, just bend a little and "they" will pass you by and look for some mom and pop non conformist outfit to shut down. IMO

I worked in retail with lots of public exposure during the h1n1swine flu and other hyped up nonsense and never became ill, never had a coworker become ill, and never had any one else I have ever know become I'll from those. If this is so bad why aren't more employees who work in these businesses all week every week dropping like flies ? They are coming in contact with thousands of people a week and aren't getting ill. Hmmm???

The store I work in has a 50 percent capacity in effect now. They now allow only 1955 people in the store at one time. Not that we would ever have that many at one time but, to me, that's ridiculous. I think our sq. footage is around 75,000 give or take. As far as I'm concerned, why limit the number then? And, an even bigger store than ours, like 3-4 times probably, has a limit of 999. Now that makes a litt6more sense if you are really trying to curb the spread of the virus.

I hated to do that as I really like RK but, I felt forced to have to do something I didn't want to do at the time. What if I had a really young kid with me, say, 6 or 7 and I was single, would they still limit me to 1 person?

And Menards won't let kids in under the age of 16.

Walmart and kroger are now only allowing so many people in at a time. In other words it is starting to look like when you saw the Russian people stand in line just to get bread about 35 years ago.

We are at 39 deaths per million now. Only 4961 per million to get to 1/2 of 1 %. You should be happy they are taking such good care of you.

Went to Rural King and while at the checkout started to have a conversation with the checkout lady . She said she got hollered at so much by customers about their procedure that she went out to her car and cried . She also said that she felt like quitting but couldn't afford to . Something to take in consideration before complaining to somebody who is just doing their job .

The people that have to deal with upset customers are very rarely the ones to make the policies that upset the customers in the first place. Raw deal in my opinion.

So a can of pop and jar of beets are essential?
Did you REALLY need to go there?

Dan's convinced it's an overblown nothingburger. 12,000 plus people dead most in the last couple weeks, says something otherwise.

That's my question too.

There's probably a high level government jobs waiting for you guys, developing lists of approved essential purchases.

No, I didn't really need to go there and judging by what most the other people were walking out with neither did they. My point was these policies these places come up with do nothing to keep people safe from viruses . Making you take a dirty shopping cart or leave ??? Come on.

It's all nonsense but some health departments are looking for any excuse to shutdown any business.

I just wish I had a Rural King close enough to go to where I could complain too.

My point is you didn't need to be there and if you weren't there you wouldn't be inconvenience by their policy.
