My county - the largest in the nation on lockdown like most of you (despite only a few hundred cases and 16 deaths)

Yesterday the county health officer announced mandatory face coverings but not n95.
So wear face covering to feel good and make others feel good.

The Sherrif of neighboring county quickly went online with a YouTube saying he will enforce the $500-$1000 fines.

But the donut shop remains open???
Cops like donuts I guess.

For sure they better not close Timmies drive thru or there will be rioting in the streets.

some people just don't know how to cook

others helplessly addicted to doughnuts

it will help them stay in business at least

minimal employees curb side or drive thru only

there really aren't that many places that have to close here as most provide some sort of essential service or food car dealers are keeping the service side running , you talk to them over the phone and drop the key in the slot not exactly busy but there.

I found there are very few places that I go in a normal week that are not essential.

my wife would tell you the coffee is an essential food item.

One of the local towns posted a notice about a 10 pm to 6 am curfew. Violation of the curfew carries a $500 fine and/or 30 days in jail...

One of the law firms in that town posted a notice that anyone fined/arrested during this curfew would be represented for free.

Lots of power hungry politicians/people are taking things to the limit while they can and this could go on for quite a while.....some states have made fishing/hunting illegal. The corps closed the road over the dam here because people always gather at the south end to watch the sunset, so people parked at the gates and walked to the south end....maybe watching the sunset will become illegal unless your all alone? And make no misjudgment, plenty of sheriffs would love to confiscate your guns/ammo.

Unprecedented actions will lead to unprecedented results...this whole thing is totally unprecedented. In the end we will almost all get it anyway...some folks say there will be health 'orders' until they develop a vaccine which takes more than a year.

I see no exit strategy or even any talk about an exit strategy.....seems to me that small business and freedom's may both be crushed.

It is either in the Constitution or the Ten Commandments. Doughnuts Cannot Be Infringed, or Thou Shalt Not Keep Thee From Buying my dang doughnuts!

I may eaten a few in my day still do I like the calorie free middles of them.

Donuts only good w/ coffee --- Coffee only good w/ donuts ! Either way I love me donuts ..... also like good coffee.... Betcha you can't eat just one !

I heard that ice cream shops are next on the non essential list.

The essential workers are required to go to work to make life easy for the non-essential workers.

No matter what anybody does someone will find fault in it you can bet on that just human nature.

but if they also sell milk and cheese then they are fine.

I have been to the Dairy they now do drive up and call with your order , no more going inside.

Sweet donuts ruin coffee for me.
