Places I travel the gas stations have pulled all the cups lids and stuff from the dispensers. The register person has to give you a cup. Some even have a lady back there serving you while the area is taped off.

Recently went into the Maverick, St George UT and same thing.
Went to the register to ask for a soda cup and the lady reaches behind herself to a table within arms reach of the counter where there were dozens of soda cups sitting face up wide open with lids shoved down inside and straws .like wide open just sitting there a few feet from me.

I asked her how the heck that was safer for some explant that they were told to do that by there local health commission. Pretty sure they weren't following the protocol correctly.

The idea is to keep the idiots that like to touch and lick everything and post on social media from causing them to throw out all the cups.

Ya that's why you keep them in a bag behind the counter in a cabinet not open face up by the dozens where hundreds of folks can cough and sneeze on them ...

They're more likely to wash their hands if they're not wearing gloves. They aren't any safer wearing gloves than not wearing them. They only need to touch their face with or without gloves to contact a virus.

Not sure if it's back running or not? but when shut down first started here. All the Kwik Trip Stores took all self service drinks off line..And them folks sell gallons hot coffee.
Haven't been in one now for over a week so not sure if they have them back on line or not.. I know my cousin drives truck and has made couple runs from I think Ohio back here to WI with the cups they use???
They've had for years now set ups where you can only pull out one self serve cup or lid at a time.

Handling a plastic card then touching a keypad may be just as bad as cash because the kung flu may live a lot longer on a hard surface....

Kwik Trip here is full service for the coffee now, they serve it for you. For the first few days it was no coffee at all.

If we just save 1 life, it will all be worth it.

Especially if that is my life.....or Boco's.

That's all good with me, I wouldn't drink stuff unknown people made and served anyway right now. Figure anyone dumb enough buy food or open drinks at a gas store is likely too dumb to get sick ,eh?

I’ll admit I haven’t read any of these but I think I’ve got a winner here in Goldsboro. Our town is keeping the golf course open(you know for exercise and what not) but closing the dog park. The volleyball area in the same park as the dog park is open and regularly has 15-20 people on it daily but the dog park is closed with signs and two locks now since someone picked up the master lock box they threw on the ground and had the locksmith make a key from the code on the box.

People in restaurants been spitting in food for years and nobody gave a dam.

Our Gov in MN has declared all golf courses to be closed. However he did announce today that he is loosening restrictions and will ALLOW golf courses to mow and do maintenance. What world are we living in?

Spitting, blood, juices which we wont say here, feces, melting plastic in the fryers, etc etc.

You do realize that no matter what you do, exposure to ANY virus is going to be close to 100%? Very few people get a cold from every cold virus they are exposed to either. Some people, believe it or not, get sicker than others when they get a cold from the same virus. Some don't get sick and never realize they were exposed.

Truck stops across the country quit self serve coffee a couple weeks ago. In most you must supply your own cup. The price of a cup has not gone down any.

Golf courses here are open but if two buddies go golfing they have to take 2 separate carts, even though they came together in the same vehicle.
