The Kansas Governor suspended the sale of any additional nonresident turkey tags yesterday. I believe tags purchased prior to yesterday are valid after 14 days of quarantine prior to hunting. Archery season opened here this past Monday.
Providing wild fur to the industry at below the cost of production for over 50 years.
Mostly carbon neutral since 1948.

hysteria prevails....it is in some ways tribalism... Are you sick? No... ? then its helping. I was threatened last week that my truck would be destroyed if I went to Maine and beaver trapped.Exactly how many people do I come in contact with beaver trapping?..the answer would be none..I know how to conduct myself in this situation..so I will not beaver trap in Maine this spring...I still say it is over hype and hysteria ...adding the media has promoted this because it is an election year...the numbers don't match the hype and hysteria...98% recovery rate..you know eventually we all have to come out from this rock some want us to hide under...we need to have an economy or we are in big trouble..

I only hunt counties in SD and states that I haven't already taken a bird in (its part of the fun for me). I was only able to get one shotgun tag and a bow tag in SD this year and was informed last night that they will not be releasing any of the returned tags to the public. I will not need a week to fill the tags I currently have. WY, NE, MN, ND, FL are out because i have already filled them. I'm doing IA on the 18th. Planning on WI on Memorial weekend and MI if WI goes really quickly. I'm thinking the 24th through May 2nd is probably too late in the season for the deep south if their seasons are even still open then so that kind of leaves just the northeast. Well see though. Nevada is a draw state so if it stays open I will definitely go there even if that is the only state i will be able to hit. Gas is cheap this year so I might just end up having to hit what ever states are still open regardless of how spread out they are. What hunt did you draw in Nevada?

Some of these Governors don't have a clue, or how to use the brain they were born with. Yes, this is a very dangerous disease, particularly to the aged. We have all shown how to prevent contamination. To prohibit hunting, fishing, or trapping to residents or non residents is just plain stupid. In my state, many of the parks, boat launches, and hiking trails are shut down. For me I would much rather take my chances in the fresh air, than in a crowded area indoors. Sometimes you just can't fix stupid, and that's why they became politicians!

I went to the WY Game/Fish page could not find any 14 day quarantine requirement on their site for hunting? It is one of the most frustrating Game sites to find information on for spring turkey but nothing I could find on the home page or in the text anywhere.

Kansas stopped all nr turkey tags sales today...hopefully they sell no nr deer tags this year but they are accepting apps for that.

Looking at Idaho’s Fish and Game page, it looks like non residents can’t buy tags or licenses. Is that because of the virus or is it that way full time? ND doesn't sell nonresidents turkey tags and I don't think they ever have.

Guessing the hunters will be down in most places they were very nice and helpful issuing tags, so I expect few other hunters or we will be elbow to elbow it could go either way. LOL
We check in and out on our phones so no contact going in and out of the place just wonder if we will be stopped coming and going to and from the cabin. No, this is still Wisconsin. We will be rid of this Evers virus in a couple years. Everyone in the country still comes and goes as they please. Good luck on the turkeys.
