Ball canning lids are around a dollar apiece.
Kerr are still a reasonable price.
Get'em while you can.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Still under a quarter a piece on eBay if you buy in bulk. Around $.40ea by the pack.

LOL
This is how sellers get people to panic buy. Raise the price to outrageous prices, making people think there’s a short supply. Then they tell their friends about it, and where they found some still available.

Whoa...I could be a rich man now. We buy regular mouth Ball jars by the dozen to sell our honey. They come with lids and bands. We use a white, one piece metal thread on lid on the jars rather than the canning lids from Ball. I have several full boxes of them

Brownie I would trade for them.

I reuse the smaller ones.
The large tend to warp from opening.

You reuse the lids? For pressure canning?

If I can’t purchase lids then all vegetables will go in the freezer. Hope everyone has a freezer, because they are in short supply now too.

I bought lids from someone on eBay who was in the lighting business. He bought jars with rings and lids. Jars became globes for outdoor lighting. He didn’t need the lids. Had hundreds of new lids for sale. This was about 4-5 years ago. Might search for outdoor lighting using Mason or canning jars, to find the source.

I just bought some Tattler reusable lids from them on line last week too. They were way more reasonable than on Amazon, then after I ordered I found out I could have saved a buck er two by ordering direct from Tattlers site. No biggie.

I buy a lot of canning jars at RK for honey. I think they just raised their price by $2 a dozen Ball regular mouth quarts were $8.99 a dozen last year. Ball round coupons every summer for $3 any dozen. Had a connection to get extra coupons, bought 30 dozen last year at $5.99. All come with lids and bands.

Last August, RK had a special on Ball pint jars for $5.99 dozen, with lids/bands. With the $3 off coupon, I was buying them for $2.99 a dozen. Couldn’t buy a dozen lids for that price.

Found a place on the Web where I can buy economy glass quarts for about $7.50 a dozen, no lids....free shipping.

We do a lot of canning at the house also, but the wife prefers wide mouth jars for a lot of things, especially when canning venison and potatoes.
Probably have 300 jars full in the basement.

Wonder how the seed market sales have been going. I hope that those hoarding jar lids have stuff to plant.

Amazon is telling many people they won't get the stuff they order now until July, if the item is deemed non essential. Diane ordered some headlamps and thermometers back in March from Amazon that we are not supposed to get until May.

The Tattler lids are nice. I have a couple of dozen I have been using for ten years. I do have a higher percentage that don't seal, though. No bug deal, just use it in a few days, or run it back through the canner with another batch.

If your asking about the Tattlers, I just got the lids and gaskets. I use the metal rings I already have.
