Seen a post on Facebook saying the PA turkey season is still on has anyone heard anything different? Just a FYI I don’t have a tag just hate to see anybody sitting at home if the don’t need to because they got the wrong info if I had a tag I’d be checking it out.

It's on.
Even though our governor is a tax and spend liberal he has enough sense not to shut down hunting, trapping and fishing. Those activities are "allowed" according to a written list released several weeks ago.

They did make one change by opening trout season early in an effort to avoid the usual crowds associated with the regular opening day.

That and he really doesn't have the power to shut down hunting.
That's one of the joys of having the PGC and PAFBC separate entities from the state government.

Good point elk, I had forgotten about that.
I wonder if a governor's mandate would overrule the PGC and/or the PAFBC

I wonder if a governor's mandate would overrule the PGC and/or the PAFBC I'm guessing it would take him shutting down the state completely, except for essential travel like work, grocery, doctors. I don't know though.

If they did not have it , people would demand refunds and there's no way either one of them commie commissions would ever give back a single dollar.

I hunt a 3,500+ acre timber company Clay. Over half has been clearcut in the last five years and timbering operations continue. It has definitely changed the turkey hunting for the worse but I still manage to get one every year.
All you can really do is scout, like you said.
