Very easy to make your own. Just buy cheap Tractor Supply jeans, splash battery acid on them and presto, instant fashion. For some reason my wife was not impressed. Go figure.

You didnt put enough on them. Need more and bigger holes strategically placed so you can resell them for 150 bucks on ebay

I'm curious? why would your wife care? does she buy them for you or mend them?
I hate holes in my jeans because lets crap get in. See people wear jeans that would drive me nuts. Strings rubbing not my thing.

I rarely wear jeans other than when I'm trapping (I usually wear khakis as a lot of my work stuff is "business casual")… so when I need a new pair I just go to the thrift store or Salvation Army.

Good argument there for never wearing shorts. My wife patches my jeans and a few years ago she started cutting the back of the legs off one pair that had shot knees and sewing them on the front of the next worst pair. Works pretty good till the pockets or zippers let go.

If I keep eating/snacking like I have been all my jeans are going to be "skinny jeans".

And here I've been cutting slots in the knees of a pair of jeans every summer, so the water drains out my knees instead of running clear up to my crotch while getting back into the canoe after tearing out beaver dams. Made sense to me, and I'm a fashion diva and didn't even know it!

Watched a show on TV years ago where two guys would buy new women's jeans. Take them out to a sand pit. Lay many pairs out on the sand and shoot holes in them with shotguns. They said that quadrupled the amount of profit over what they paid for them. If they paid $15 a pair, they could sell them for $60 a pair once they were shot up. crazy

Yep... riding around in the back of an old Willey's jeep, drinking beer w/ buddies, when a 12V spare battery turned over unnoticed... ended up sitting where it had been... whole butt fell out of those jeans on the 1st wash... WAY past the designer look, even in the 70's.

I once lost the whole front right side my favorite at the time army field coat. Took the battery out of my old truck carried it to put on charger. Next morning go to put my coat on big part of front gone with more crumbling. No idea that battery was leaking.

Was a guy in my class in high school. Started a whole business back in the day making what they called patch jeans. People would give him dozen pairs old ratty jeans. He'd sew them back together couple pairs out of the lot charge them. Be all different size pieces actually looked kind a neat and of course this was during bell bottom times..I never wore any them just regular boot cut..That guys jeans got so popular he ended up opening a clothing store for few years after graduation..
Usually by the time I throw my jeans their past point rescue.

Au contraire, I actually like jeans with some style. Doesn't mean I am going to spend an arm and a leg on them but the ones with a little bit of flex are incredibly comfy.

That said no way am buying jeans that are already worn out.

Its like wiping before you poop. Makes no sense.

IMHO holes in jeans are for wearers with holes in their heads. Period.
