I get the Pro line hips (if you don't mind rubber). I like that they have an extra rubber strip on the knee for kneeling on sharp stuff. They come in insulated and non insulated.

I get a pair of both for about $110 from Duke. Free shipping over $100.

I like the pro-lines. Had a pair years ago that lasted a long time. Look like a good middle of the road option. They're real hard to find now, Duke doesn't offer any on their website. Only place that has them in stock is PCS, of course they're shut down right now.

I find the same is true what Law Dog said. I have bought the real expensive hip boots and not have them last any longer than the cheaper ones. If your around beaver flows you know what I mean.

Duke still has them advertised in their add in the Fur Takers Magazine. Might be worth a call. $40 for the non insulated and $50 for the insulated. I guess getting the both would still leave you $10 short of the Free shipping deal.

Are they actually waterproof hip boots? Or water resistant chaps above rubber boots?

I've asked several times on here with no straight answer.

Called Duke, they are out of the pro-lines for the foreseeable future except in a few oddball sizes. I think I'm going to wait for pcs to open back up and see if I can't snag a pair.

I've had a pair of these for about 5 years and they get a lot of abuse, trapping, coon and bear hunting.
