True, and they didn't say how many tags they were going to raffle off that we have been waiting up to 12-13 YEARS to get !

Our hunting has gotten worse and worse. I don't know if the people on charge even care. Get the NRB, out and replace it with people that really know what they are doing and take politics out of it.

There are infinite ways that aspects of outdoor sporting opportunities could be improved or advanced. It seems to me that we keep asking similar questions on how to piecemeal what we have been doing for decades. We got a lot of pieces but no idea of what the puzzle will or should look like when put together. 16% of WI's land area is public and 84 % is private. Let us assume that 25% of the private area is not hunting area, water etc.
We should be putting together workshops and engagement sessions with land owners and our younger outdoor youths so they develop relationships with land owners and they can use those properties for outdoor activities. We are not going to attract many younger hunters fighting over limited turf and a bunch of regs, rules and seasons that change with small distances and every time someone with gas burps.
