Yes,although the flavor and texture may change but it"s still palatable.

The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

you want to take about a cup out first so that the jugs don't rupture

The less fat in the milk the less issues you will have freezing the milk.

Tends to get little chunks of whatever in it after it thaws. Never been an issue though.

They do make shelf-stable milk too. You don't have to freeze that.

When the big panic was going on I think I read you can freeze it for up to 3 months. As was said I think I'd take a little out to make sure it doesn't bust or I'd get a plastic storage tote and put the jug in there when you put it in the freezer just in case.

.Froze some 1% recently. No issues with rupture or texture/taste. Took a day to thaw.

When we primitive camp, we freeze gallon jugs of Milk and keep them in the cooler. That big old block lasts a long time, and as it thaws it's the coldest glass of Milk you'll ever have.

Yes, we do it all the time. In fact.... here's a secret.....gallon milk jugs are made to freeze. Ya know the big "dents" in the sides of a gallon jug of milk? They're there to provide room for expansion when freezing. You can put a whole unopened gallon of milk in the freezer, and when frozen, it'll be fine. Those dents expand all the way out and nothing leaks or pops.

After thawing, how fast do you have to get rid of it being spoiling occurs?
