That is why the only way to know actual impacts is to compare total mortality now with Covid, to total mortality before without Covid. It was reported in New York that mortality from more "normal" causes has declined since Covid numbers are up. This would indicate some rate of compensatory mortality is occurring. It would be an easy statistic to track and report and would eliminate the uncertainties of accurately determining the primary cause of death.

I’ve beat this to death on other posts. I’ve seen both spectrums. I’ve seen physicians on the extreme of everyone needs to be in a bunker for six months. These type of physicians seem to be physicians around patients that are generally heathy populations (OBGYN) etc. The majority of the physicians I’ve spoken to pulmonologists, ER physicians, internal medicine physicians, etc. are turning towards it’s time to let these restrictions ease. There’s too much evidence that the mortality rate is being grossly exaggerated and the virus is being sensationalized by your friend the media.

I’m not going to go out and look for evidence for you. It’s all out there. I will give one example. A person presents to the hospital. Suffers a motor vehicle accident which damages organs. They are unable to be saved after a few days of treatment. They test positive for Covid. That ICD-10 code is attached to their medical record. Contributor to death is Covid. Would you consider that a legit death from Covid? I’m with Tracy there’s a big difference.

The CDC has clearly stated their views. Along with their stance on presumptive positives before testing was available. The thing I find amazing is Trapperman is the last place I thought I would find a population of people ready to lay down their personal rights to the government out of fear.

So.... let's take an example of a New York stock broker. He's pretty stressed out and knows he's gonna go broke and then some. He decides it's time to jump off the Empire State Building and just end it all but first he sparks a big 'ol fatty and really hits it good and then leaps to his demise. About half way down he begins a loud coughing fit and several people witness the whole thing including a police officer and 2 Chinese doctors. They decide they better check him for the CCP virus. Sure enough he shows positive. Now how would they list the cause of death. Oh ya and he was from Mexico and didn't have a Green Card.
