The world population is right at 7.1 Billion which means we have confirmed COVID in .03% of the World's population
The western hemisphere (North and South America have a population of 1 billion or about 13.5 % of the worlds population The western hemisphere has 8.5 million confirmed cases or the western hemisphere has 40.4% of the confirmed cases and 386,000 of the deaths or 51% of the total deaths.
Interesting to note that in the lessor dense population areas the virus has not spread as quickly as in the higher populated regions.
The virus is spreading faster now than any other time, but it still needs to infect 50 million more people to reach 1% of the world population. If we need roughly 50-70% infected (without a vaccine) that means over 3 million more people need to contract the disease. That will take a long time even with a rapidly increasing infection rate.

It's kind of like the headlines I see now. School back on for two days! Already a confirmed case of Covid in the school system.....

But wait....
I can tell you that our state laboratory is back logged with testing that is taking 4-6 days to get results. They've cut down on the available test kits to run the quick result PCR tests which are only being run on people with direct known Covid exposure or healthcare workers...yet two headlines from the state's two largest cities want you to believe these kids have not only contracted...... but become symptomatic..... and received testing/results in the last 48 hours....

The schools are already pushing for all online learning again..... two days into reopening.

These kids had Covid before they went to school. Whatever fits the narrative.

The published statistics for Covid 19 are not accurate. This is not due to random error. It is due to bias. The bias is grossly biased inflating Covid related deaths and infection rate.

Everyone has heard of examples of this bias. Murdered people, auto accident victims, heart attack victims being entered as Covid 19 related. All retests for confirmation of Covid 19 infection being entered on the same individual. Negative test results not being entered into data base.

This is not by accident. It is falsification of data.

And the left says to follow the science. The science is biased. Building public policy on these statistics based on this science is a lie and is in fact based on politics.

One of the big networks (CBS maybe) had a big special on last night about COVID and schools reopening. I didn't watch it, but I still bet I can sum it up like this: BE AFRAID. BE VERY AFRAID.

I've been trying to find the number of test given per day and/or the date of test in correlation to positive results in Arkansas. Want to compare numbers since mask mandate. Can't seem to find the numbers. Any suggestions where to find these?

Trapdog isn’t it funny how they have ramped up the rhetoric the last few weeks. All we heard for months was kids were at very low risk. Now it’s a problem. If that doesn’t show people it’s political nothing will. Not saying the virus is political I’m saying it’s being used that way. Get the kids in school!!!!

I don't think you're going to find any testing numbers. You might check your states health department site.

I just found out that my B-inlaw, his wife and her brother and mother have or had it. He was sick for a couple days, she was for about 8 hours. All but her mother have recovered fine . If not for testing neither would have known.

Like the flu, some people get sick. Unfortunately we have no seasonal vaccine available. So, if you’re older the probability is that Covid-19 is going to hit you hard. Possibly kill you. At close to 70, my chances of not surviving Covid are probably pretty high.

To me, this is serious stuff. If I was taking care of school aged grand kids I'd worry they would be exposed and I would get it when they got home. I’m taking this serious because my well being depends on it.

Sounds like the media hype has worked wonders on you. Yes it is true that older people are more vulnerable than younger people, but even in your late 60's (close to 70) your chances of surviving covid are really very high. Of course that news does not fit the narrative so it is not being reported. People are more easily controlled when they are terrified.

Riddle me this. Test positive in July. Two negatives back to work. Symptomatic this week test positive again. If direct exposure didn’t provide immunity what makes you think a vaccine will? One month from first positive and tested positive again. Yes, this is first hand knowledge. Yes this was just confirmed this week.

Those of you waiting on a vaccine are going to die of natural causes long before a vaccine is produced that’s effective.
