Amazing talent , everyone ! See the vast array of art in this world...fantastic .
Jack....you are humble ...I see redline pro refinement , in years honed to the beauty of every one of your artistic talents . Art done extremely well , in every one of those subjects.
A good time to enjoy such positive projects again, for those who normally would not have the time.
I am working on a wolverine , that I have wanted to do for a long time. For me, not a commission. Hours of research in video and photo studies , with a never before used coloured paper, and some coloured pencils and stick pastel white, that I've never tried before. Exciting yet entirely intimidating , all at once...learning all over again as I go along. The base layers in quadrants , so far , ok !
Continue on, everyone !

Wow ! What amazing variety of talent here ! Very nice topic, AT. OK, Ill throw in my wolverine in progress. This is the first base layer , just to map out the fur flow and light reflective tones . After the base layer is done all over, I will then go over it all again with the darkest details, and the lightest , to bring out fur dimension , the clumps that part down into the undercoat, and the light tips that wave with the movement as he leaps . The blues and lilacs will just be a hint of rich hue when the blacks and deep browns will be applied later over the top. The tail, feet and legs wont be near that blue ! I have never worked on this paper before , so it is new to me in how the tooth grabs the layers of pencil. See how gritty it looks , on the upper shoulder portion ...that is the very beginning base , then adding more on top of that , to what is seen elsewhere, so far. Also, to make things worse, I'm using some new pencils , and a pastel stick in white, that has superior hair coverage over the top of the darker tones , of the oil/wax base pencils. Learning as I go....exciting and totally intimidated at times along the way. The camera flash made for different tone of the paper, which is all a uniform nice ochre . Just a quick shot of it propped up against a light stand..should be fine when scanned . So, this is the ugly phase !
