A hooped hide is another less expensive option. It looks like Muskrat on here makes some nice ones and will make one using your tanned pelt. I might go that route. I contacted them just a few days ago about hooping a beaver for me. I like the looks of their work. Thanks for the suggestion.

Reviving an older thread. Look at this cat work! Just a young fella who lives about ten miles away from me. He's only been at it for about four years. Talk about talent. Wow! That is some excellent work. One of the best I've seen on cats.

Yes those look great, I still haven’t got my rug back yet, hopefully soon I haven't got back yet. Four or five more months if he is on schedule. Nothing against the other taxidermist but I wish I would have known about this kid sooner. Likeable young guy to boot.
