Interesting Dave. I know the Citori has a problem with firing pin springs wearing out after a few thousand rounds. I wonder if the two problems are related

Could just be tight tolerances and a little lube residue will then be enough at times to stick the pin. Try Graphite spray ..it works pretty well for me in the past. i solved the problem a different way and just moved to Tennessee where it does not get cold enough to have problems like that.

Disassemble the bolt clean spring and firing pin thoroughly also the firing pin way with carburetor cleaner . Apply a little dry lube or graphite like Scuba said. A lot of lubes get thicker than axel gease at forty below. Some of the newer synthetic gun lubes are good in the cold.

Browning? None of them! Won't allow one in my house. For a rifle Tikka or Howa, in that order.

Better double up on ear protection if you buy one with the BOSS system
Had a semi auto in 7mm rem mag and promptly traded it in for a BLR in .270 win
Was so loud I actually developed a flinch from it.

Just happy to be here.

Personally I’d go for the right hand straight pull in the middle in 9.3. How much?
