Anyhow a thought popped in my head today regarding this stimulus check , say someone else passed it . I don't know lets say Trump isn't president any more but the same general stuff is going on with the corvid 19 and the shut down and all that. Everything same different guy let's say in the white house , how do y'all think it would go over with people ?
Like right now with Trump ,seems there's alot of people super happy with it but I can't help but feel if the same thing happened under a different person alot of people would be loosing their minds and cursing it .

I think more people, especially liberals, would be thankful if another president, especially a liberal one, had given the stimulus.

I think it was a great idea because it killed a lot of apprehension people had over losing income and just being able to buy enough groceries to stay home. The government will get half of the money back, quickly, through various taxes.

This virus is real, but it's being used to crush the economy by the left to try to get people to blame Trump and vote him out. If someone else was in, we would not be on lockdown and there would be no stimulus. We would be doing business as usual. Don't you remember H1N1 when bummer was running the show?

Common sense says that even anyone stupid enough to shut down the entire country would have brains enough to offer some meager compensation to those he screwed.

The damage is done. Trump or anyone else to have pulled that stunt will suffer unless they can get things back on track.

If the powers that be didn’t take a precautionary stance on this situation and of course we will never know the numbers of infected if the country was not locked down. Guaranteed people would be complaining though if the country did not get shut down and their loved ones got infected and died.

Most people will take anything they think is free. It usually doesn't matter if they need it or not, or who it comes from.

Of course they won’t think twice. However, I already heard some of them thanking Nancy Pelosi for getting this passed and not giving any credit to Trump.

There is a way to check when it's status My parents hadn't received theirs, and it was because they had a different bank account and they had to update some info. Or something to that effect. Maybe someone else who knows more can chime in.

American family insurance just notified me that we would be receiving a check for $50 dollars for each vehicle we have insured with them as a form of covid relief since people are driving less and thus less accidents. More traps I guess!
