My center fielder on my softball team until this year obviously. She found a t least one on every field we played until we were at state last year. She came off the field and said coach: no clovers it all grass out there! LOL when you have that grounds crew she is correct. Said that run since she was a sophomore will come to an end early. frown

There was one clover plant in our backyard, when I was a kid, that only had 4 leaf clovers on it.

I find several dozen every summer. Must spend too much time looking at the ground. The good luck I should be accumulating must be only good for finding more clovers though. I had a collection of everything but a 9 leaf up to 12 leaf clover until lost in a college move.

My daughter finds a 4 leaf clover about every 4-5 minutes that she looks. She keeps a purse full of them. The one on the right was her first 5 leaf. I've never found a single one.

The Boy finds them and eats all he finds. My mom used to eat them when I was a kid and I'd give them to her. She'd tell me that's how you get the luck. Turns out it was just so she wouldn't have to keep track of them. Lol

Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

Once you know what to look for it's pretty easy. Every patch of clover has them, just got to train the eye.... grin

Maybe that was my mistake I should have eaten the ones I found except for my collection I gave mine away(mostly to my MOM, maybe she got the luck!). I once heard from an Irishman(while he was inebriated of coarse the even leaf clovers were lucky and odd leafed were unlucky like opposite side of a found penny.
