I think once the economy collapses from covid people are going to really value warm fur this coming winter.
I think fur robes and blankets may be in real demand after the collapse.

Trump fixed Americas economy once, he will do it again. That country north of America will once again ride Americas coat tail, that's how they roll.

I have been tanning several bobcats and coyotes the past couple years but unfortunately I don't know much about turning them into useable garments

Boco has it right.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Yeah well they will be a lot warmer than if they spend 5-$600 on Kiui or Sitka coats

Nothing beats fur for warmth.
I guess you never heard of the experiment that was done a few years ago?
They had 3 guys sit in a deep freeze and dropped the temps to 70 below. One guy had top of the line mountaineering clothes, another guy had top of the line snowmobile/arctic clothing and the 3rd guy had on a traditional Inuit fur clothing and boots.
They wer'nt allowed to move around just sit,and they took their body temps at regular intervals. After several hours the guy in the traditional inuit fur clothing had no change in body temps, the others were on their way to hypothermia.

Ok well that just proves what I already thought and not just about traditional fur. Yall Canadians are out of your minds. -70 I'd need 3 fat gurls and 2 fur coats to even look out the daggum window. crazy

I prefer a fur robe rather than fur clothing(except mitts and hat) for the fact it is way too warm to do any work in fur clothing.
Great for sleeping out though. When the kids were small, and I would take them on the wilderness line I would always hap them up with thick bearskin robes for travelling in the sleigh.

You might be on to something, I can not find evidence of anyone wearing a fur coat dying from COVID19
