Figured there was some talk about this already....
I'm usually behind on hearing about anything.
This is very troubling, especially with the current state of our fur marketing options.

Capitalists with some imagination probably are already figuring out how to work with those new guidelines. Lots of small fur processors making lower cost garments and then having them resold or reclaimed sounds like an opportunity in the waiting.
Bryce Probably so, but overall this is going to have a bad effect on the coyote fur market very soon.

Some times you have to look to the future with a bit of optimism. Is our market now so great that we feel such a loss at market time? We get over this current anomaly ,things may very well reflect, what retail markets have stated. There is still a demand for fur I hope you're right, but with all that has happened in the wild fur market of late, NAFA folding and this dang virus shutting everything down this is just another serious negative. I'm gonna have to go back to live marketing coyotes again to be able to afford to trap....uugghh!

I did a little looking and found an article ( Bloomberg ) about them re-opening 2 factories to produce PPE gowns with plans to re-open the rest of their 8 facilities soon.
I'm no rocket scientist but it appears they were running at half capacity at best. The article didn't say how many the "rest" were but sounds like more than 1. After thinking some more, could they have been forced to close?

It ticks me off to no end. All the greenies talking about sustainable this and sustainable that, fewer things in this world more sustainable than harvesting coyote hides. We all know its basically impossible to irradiate them even if we tried.
