I have given up on the idea of getting one before deer season. Now that we are on land and have the space for it ya can't find one.

I may look for a broken one and fix it. I have the gases and tools to replace a compressor etc.

I sure some have generaters, some ones doing this have lots money. Live outskirts. Or country. Central wood heat, buy lots gun ammo , spend thousands, buy all food groceries meat up

I went to buy one about a month ago to freeze a bunch of skipjack for bait. There are none anywhere. Glad I didnt already have the skipjack. Lol

Scuba if you replace the compressor I would recommend you replace the cap tube and drier also. Especially if it’s R134 refrigerant. Because R134 crystallizes in the cap tube then as long as there’s no leaks you’re good to go.

I have that stuff in stock as I fix boat ac and refrigeration as part of my job description.

Maybe they’re using them to store toilet paper so it doesn’t expire.
