Its great for limited practice. The gun you use could make things better to make practice sessions a bit more active. If your pistol can dry fire without having to half rack the slide after every shot, its a lot better. So basically double action pistols for dry firing would give more realistic training.

I have the laser hit system and would buy it again I don’t know about the itarget one but they all operate about the same way, the trainer I went to to renew my CCP recommend the itarget though for what it might be worth, he didn’t sell it or anything was just his recommendation
