A friend of mine went fishing this morning and walking to his fishing spot he found these 10 morels. He doesn't care for them so he brought them to me. The were pretty good eating along with ground beef patties. They appeared to be from a couple days old to fresh out of the ground. These came from central Ohio near Buckeye Lake.

These came from northern Michigan today. It's a little early but I was bored so I went for a walk in my spot.

Picked just over a hundred today. Wasn’t gonna let them grow anymore this year.

Mmmmm I cooked up a porterhouse last night and had a side of fresh morels with it. I forgot how good them things taste. I found a few hundred so far but dehydrated most of them so far.

My dad always said mother's day was the right time but I have found them from April 1st to June 15th depending on the year.

Normally we are within a day or two around mother's day here,our weather is going to be much cooler than normal this week,so we might be off by a few more days.Fiddleheads haven't started yet with this cool down,40's for highs and 50's are not helping the cause.Within 2 weeks i'll be picking morel's,fiddleheads and asparagus.Have a great day everyone.

Picked my last round of mushrooms for the year yesterday and picked my second batch of asparagus also. I’m mushroomed out.

I been finding a few too, seems like it's going downhill now. Get em quick it'll be over here soon
