Humans need a certain amount of struggle and hard work to be mentally healthy. Success without effort doesn't satisfy the psyche. So many in America have it too easy. No struggle, no need to solve problems themselves, no need to overcome obstacles. It makes us unable to handle life's little problems. Real manual labor, overcoming a significant difficulty with your own wits and hard work do wonders for mental health.
I used to work in nursing homes. It was obvious that once a person's needs are completely met and they have no more struggles, life gets more difficult, not less.

T-Rex,
So a professional trained by definition as mental health experts are treating healthy people? Dang, man, that is not a logical conclusion either. Yes, that might be true. But, what I believe is especially true is that a lot of people around the world that could use the service by our standards can't or wouldn't pay for it. Therefore, fewer shrinks. Sure, you could be right, but, there is way too little information presented to make that kind of sweeping conclusion.

I've also read something like the United States uses 95% of prescription drugs on this planet. When I was a kid,,if the teacher told the old man I wasnt paying attention in class,,he cuffed me upside the head,,then I paid more attention in class,NOW,,if the teacher says someone don't pay attention in class, they have a name for the disease and prescription drugs to handle it.Its all a plan by desighn. Not an accident. Its how they take over,
the wheels of the gods turn very slowly

All these professionals but not one was able to deal with Trump's psychosis.
Jarhead I believe they are making progress in the treatment of TDS, but many are too far gone.
