Hey guys, I recently bought some Bridger 5 double long springs for beaver, and I was wondering if I need to set them any differently then my coil springs? I usually set a few inches offset with the dog facing away in The 3 or 9 o’clock position. Also, does anyone notice any difference in holding power / catches between the number 5 coils and The long springs ? Thanks!

You won't have any problems holding beaver In those traps.

I would offset at least 5" right or left of center. But other then that do the same set up.

Bedding a beaver trap Is just as important as bedding a coyote trap maybe even more so.
