Calvin trapper C Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 5,962 South metro, MN	I'll never get another puppy again. Took me a LONG time to figure that out. Puppies are a crap shoot no matter the lineage. You never know a dogs true personality until they get to be about 8 mos old. Plenty of dogs out there that age and older that you can see their real personality before you get them home....and they are past the chewing up your socks, furniture and shoe stage. Told that to a friend of mine a couple years ago. She (of course) didn't listen as she got some high end puppy and put thousands into training it. Well the old saying is true "cant fix stupid". That dog is an absolute worthless bull in a china shop, rockhead of an animal. Another buddy did the same thing about a year ago. Loves the dog but it's been a rough and spendy ride.... and the dog is still mental. It's also a lot easier to train a dog that's a year or 2 old....but I wish you all the luck.
