Yes sir , the correct belt and thread pattern. .it runs for about 2 to 3 weeks but the wear on the engine side causes the breakage...I posted a pic of the offset belt on page one.
Guess we'll have a new front end hear soon...it is my sister's vehicle she drives to store and to the Pioneers Home where she works.

Find another vehicle with same engine. Measure the distance between the rear edge of the crank pulley and the block. Compare that measurement to your pulley and block. If the gaps are different, your pulley has separated and needs replacement or your thrust bearings on the crankshaft are worn out which lets the crank and pulley move too far forward. If the gaps are the same, that indicates there is a problem with other pulleys.

Sounds like a bad bearing to me.

I didn't word that correctly. If the gaps are different, the dampener has separated and needs replacement. You can also lay a straightedge across the crank pulley and see if it is lined up with the other pulleys.
