vermontster OP trapper V Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 1,324 vermont	I got a 19 1/2# gobbler with 8 1/2” beard and 3/4” spurs Monday. Today I got a 18 1/2# gobbler with 8 1/4” beard and 1/2” spurs. Sorry I haven’t figured out how to post pictures yet. Good luck to everyone. Taking my wife out hunting Friday morning hopefully my luck will still be good and she will get one. The bitterness of poor quality last a lot longer than the sweetness of low price

Breast meat we use as kabobs on the grill the rest we either grind or this year we are going to try pressure cooking the leg/thigh meat. Congratulations, almost got one in the snow here today he just wouldn't fully commit, that would've checked off another bucket list item for me.a gobbler in the spring in snow Lol. Maybe Friday or Saturday, we are supposed to have snow again both days. Good luck with the wife Friday Life's too short, enjoy everyday like it was your last.
