Hes stable ,but the policy of NO VISITORS is about to drive my motherin law batty . In over fifty years they had never spent a night apart before this . Making contact and and getting info has been like pulling teeth , the hospital is neer empty and nobody has time for you . It took two days and persistant pressure to get him set up for one face time .

My MIL is living in a senior center. Age 93. A month ago she was hospitalized with pneumonia for one night. Tested negative for Covid also. Had some fever. She has severe dementia. Wouldn't believe the stuff she told the medical staff. When asked if she smoked. she said she smoked a pipe. She has never been a smoker. Doesn't remember a thing about the hospital.

Prayers for your father-in-law. Pneumonia is a serious problem for the elderly.
