Thanks to our Democrat Gov our unemployment rate is the highest in the nation. How or why do you ask. This leech has told EVERYONE to apply and let the state figure out if you qualify !!! Then the system got flooded and crashed and people are coming unglued. Ones that need it are waiting . So now he is approving everyone then figure out if they qualify. !! SO stupid. PLUS substitute teachers are going to draw until end of June but our school was set to close last Friday May 8 ............ That is just one of the examples

I’ve always said we have a true 25% unemployment before it ever started. That is people that could work that don’t. I see tons of men lounging around every day while their wife works. I hope lots realize what Dandy Andy is really trying to do. I can’t stand those updates where he talks like he’s talking to little children.

Why is it that politicians that say "we are all in this together" seldom cut their own pay to mirror their constituents?

Why should some workers want to return to work when they are making more money than they did while working by staying at home. Socialism at work.

Heard a guy on the radio the other day. He said he was 52 and a diabetic. He was furloughed and said if he was told to return to work, he'd refuse, claiming it was too unsafe for him to do that. If they cut off his unemployment insurance, he would file suit. He predicted there will be a lot of lawsuits if vulnerable workers are told to return to work and don't.

The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

No doubt some (maybe many/most) will take advantage of that. I was laid off at the end of March and just got my first unemployment payment this week. I had a fairly decent paying job before, and unemployment is paying $58 more per week than I was making before, even after taxes.

But I am actively looking for a job so I can get out ahead of those who are going to milk the extra federal $600 until the end of July. Going to be tons of people looking for work in August. I hope to have a couple months in at my new job by then.

But those entry-level jobs at $15/hour look pess attractive when unemployment is paying the equivalent of $24/hr through the end of July.
