Great job. I'm still after old 70. I call him old 70 because that's how close I've had him.5 TIMES !!! In the last week.he has a bearded hen with him that is just playing h3!! With me. I've been hunting in the mornings a few hours so I can get back and get to work on the computer but tomorrow the weather looks great for hunting so I took a vacation day and I'm going to hit it hard and old 70 better be on his toes because I'm going to be on mine. Good luck everyone and be safe You need a caller behind you and set up 1/2 way in the middle he might slip up then.

In my 40 years of hunting turkeys I have to say this big boy has been the most fun so far, frustrating but fun. I get tunnel vision on these birds and no matter how many other birds I hear gobbling around I always lock on one big old Tom and hunt him til I kill him. We danced again this morning and his hen had me pinned down and he was at 40 yards but I just couldn't get a shot at him. Maybe here in about an hour or so I'll meet up with him again as I made a move to one of his mid-late morning strut sites. Time will tell.
Life's too short, enjoy everyday like it was your last.

Stories like these are why spring gobblers are my absolute favorite thing to hunt.
