They were. Now, unfortunately, I'm trapping stinking coyotes. At least they are lighter than wolves and I don't have to taxidermy skin them.

Same here, just to say I had done it. If I lived out west where they were after the elk and livestock I might try even harder to catch some

My buddy catches 3 or 4 every year In Northern WI he said It's no big deal It's like catching big coyotes.

What changed?

They could back off on the permits so people could enjoy the experience for awhile .

Or.....they could go with a more realistic harvest quota that would not be filled in 2 days.

I have a friend in Montana now who's got close to his limit each of the past couple years... I want to go spend some time with him in a few years. Definitely a bucket-list trip for me!

I've always wanted to catch or shoot a wolf since I saw the ones mounted in the Cabelas story in Sidney when I was a kid

I never applied for a tag when we had our seasons and won't when it comes again. I am not the type of person that wants to spend a thousand dollars plus or minus to mount or make a rug out of a 47 lbs. scrawny young of the year female wolf pup caught in mid-October with just wiry hair for fur. I will let those that want that have the tags.

I would really like to take one in my life. I predator hunt and would like to hunt one. I, like many, am sitting on 3 points here in Wisconsin and waiting for the political winds to blow in the right direction. All the while I am getting older...and older.

They r nothing but work and staaanky.
Yeah they r cool animals but why would anyone ever want to hurt such a magnificent animal......
Said no trapper EVER!!

I trap em to help the environment....the circle of life comes full circle when we help cull the apex predator's
I've seen the benefits of trapping them
And you can't just trap one or 2...that's not the reality of a real wolf trapper.
