J. Brooks trapper J Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 606 Montana	Years ago I bought an old Hobart #12 on EBay. Ground piles of meat with that thing. A few years back I upgraded to a Biro 3 HP #32 single phase. The Biro will flat eat meat but overkill for small amounts. I still have the Hobart and break it out when doing small sausage batches. The old Hobarts can be found for similar money as the Cabelas stuff if you shop and aren’t worried about cosmetics.

I dont use it much anymore i acquired a 5hp 32 butcher boy that is amazing . . Its surprising how easy it cleans and how )ittle gets wrapped around the knife. The grinder part fits in the dishwasher . Ive sent beaver pelvises through a 1/4 plate the best part is i only have $250 in it

I tried it once and had more trouble getting out the "dough" than anything I had ever ran through it. If it works that well, what did I do wrong? Trash your goals and plans for life.
