I found the buried next to my barn. Was a chunk of rusted dirt. Wish I had taken a before picture. I soaked this in vinegar for about six days and cleaned. I believe I know what it is but what do you think?

A furrowing tool for and old hand push plow. Like they used to make a furrow for planting potatoes ….

It's not what I thought it was. I did a Google search and it disproved my idea that it was the drill point from an old hand auger for well drilling.

An arrow head from the long extinct Eastern Indian tribe of the Steelers. Quite a long ways from their ancestral home of Western PA.

If a sickle bar point it is different than any I have ever seen. All that I have worked with are bolt on. It is possibly a point for a loose hay fork used to put hay in the barn. I have an old horse drawn sickle mower at the farm I will look at later today also a hay fork I can check.

Sickle guard. It has the groove near the top which would be the bottom edge where the sickle would sit and not slide out. Most back then were 5-6 foot in length and hand lifted and ground driven.
