Occasionally, I see people driving in a car by themselves wearing a mask.

Yup, you're mistaken.
It is my OPINION I'm allowed to have one you know.

I’ve lived around here over 50 years and know, or sort of know, or seen, quite a few people in that time. I can say that I’m seeing a lot of masks being worn by people who are lefties and want to make this as bad and stretched out as possible. They are also the quickest to succumb to peer pressure and political correctness. Some of the businesses are making their employees wear masks simply because of threat of repercussions from the governor who’s on a power trip. The threat of catching it is minor compared to say, when the regular flu is rampant and I don’t see masks then. This thing is dividing us and is worse than the disease.

Well Moosetrot and Bogmaster, I think you should wear masks. In fact a full SCBA would probably be best. I mean, if you can get the whoo from walking down a dirt road in the middle of the forest, then you guys are not safe anyplace. Maybe move to Michigan? Obviously you love the idiots in government telling you how it is and what to do. That seems like a good place for you. Although you won't be safe anywhere. The whoo is going to get you. BOOOOO!

Finster ,I am sorry. I didn't know you couldn't read what you have posted. It seems I wasn't mistaken. You did call people sheep more than once.
It may be time for you to go lay down near your dish.
Of course, that is just my opinion.

Wow, Finster, knowing Tom and knowing myself that is quite a stretch by anybody's standards! Looks like you are doing some scrambling to justify your opinion, which is "...not necessarily based on fact or knowledge".

Kytrapper, our governor is not on a power trip. Just because he has his staff refer to him as your majesty and he is being fitted for a crown. lol

Not scrambling, just trying to teach you both basic reading and comprehension skills. However, at this point I guess I will give up. People like you two are impossible to teach. Good luck and watch out, the bogeyman is behind every corner, you'll be safest cowering in your homes serving your masters will.

Sorry, Bogmaster and Moosetrot don't like my opinions so I guess I can't give mine anymore. They are only allowed to give theirs so you'll have to wait.

I'm sure they will be along soon. I have some outside work to do in the vineyard. I'll probably drop dead out there someplace since I won't be wearing a mask like the other sheep. wink

When I worked in a turd factory for a career, we had to pass a pulmonary test to keep our jobs because we wore respirators(N95) masks quite a bit as well as scba outfits when responding to a chlorine emergency. The reason to test pulmonary function is wearing a mask creates extra stress on the heart and lungs when trying to breath through a mask. Smokers are at a higher risk when wearing masks and we had one 60 year old that could not pass and therefore lost his job. I do not wear a mask when out and about because I know the risk of keeping your hands away from your face. People that are constantly adjusting a mask are actually putting themselves at greater risk than not wearing one at all. Menards required me to wear a face covering so I pulled my beard up over my face and fastened with elastic strap and in I went.

Saw something interesting on my wife's Facebook. An MD stated that wearing a face mask isn't necessarily healthy for the wearer. He said when exhale, you emit carbon dioxide. Some escapes the mask, some doesn't. So, you are inhaling carbon dioxide on your next breath, which may be harmful.

I perceive Law Dog thinking it was rather strange to see someone all alone in the middle of nowhere to be wearing a mask. I don't see anything wrong with that, as some of you seem to.
I see people driving around in their vehicles with a mask on and alone in the car. I find that strange. I have a mask with me in my vehicle, but don't wear it while I'm driving.
