Hey guys, I’ve got some questions about these traps. I’ve used these before, and have caught plenty of beaver, and have even seen people catch otter with them. However, I can’t help but wonder how many otter, rats, and mink are probably missed in these traps. I don’t think a beaver would be able to get completely through without firing the trap, but I would think and otter, mink, or muskrat could very easily get around the triggers, which are in a wishbone shape in the middle of the trap. Thoughts on this? Thanks!

Ave don't go where the beaver don't flow

I have heard mixed reviews on that trap. Not legal in many states where there is a 10" maxium on bodygrips. Like in Pa. where I do some trapping.

Unless rats go to 17 again, I don't mind missing rats in 330s. If you're handy with a welder you can modify a trigger setup to increase the kill zone
