I want to trap in some cow pasture but it hit me will the cattle mess up my traps or will my traps hurt the cattle any help would be greatly appreciated


Trapping is what built North America, why take that away?

Yes, cattle have a good sense of smell and lure will draw them in. Won't hurt the cattle (full grown cows that is) but they will stomp on your sets.
If you're talking about winter time, many cows will be taken out of the pasture for winter.

Trench sets or step down sets help somewhat with the cattle. Try not to use urine either

snares are a no but traps wont hurt anything other than real small calfs

My experience with cattle is that as soon as you move away from a set they will immediately investigate and screw up said set.
