If they would of paid the collage directly that money you never would of heard about this. Same results just a different way people were paid is all.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

What's the crime in paying a college to admit your child as a student? I guess there must be a law against it but I'm ignorant of what it is.

They paid coaches not the school the money went in their pockets not to the school.

It isn't, and shouldn't, be a crime to buy your way into a college of your choosing The crime was paying people to change answers on entrance exams/take exams for kids, and in some.cases, pay under the table money to get kids scholarships onto sports teams for sports they never played (like rowing). I don't know which of.tgose Lori loughlin was involved in, but none of those should be acceptable.

Yea but law dog her little genius wouldn't have gotten into USC !!! Tested too dumb had to bribe someone to list her as an athlete Little princess even admitted to not going to any classes,,but liked the parties.I don't feel sorry for any of them folk.

She should have just put the payoff money into a trust fund for the kid.... Trust fund? I bet that wouldn't cover the girls new jewelry and clothes for a month.

Their daughters may not have been able to enroll on a merit basis. They were admitted as athletes that never went to practices or performed.
Bryce Like the athletes that do the sports and not the classroom work it’s all crooked.
