Average in America is about 500 a month they say. Sound right?

For $500 a month people are putting down a serious down payment or not buying new or trucks.

Screw that. The ole '92 runs good and is very cheap and easy to fix.

It is starting to get a bit of rust so I may be searching for a newer one. A southern late '90s chevy 1500 for 5k sounds better than a 60k 2020 that will rust out and be worthless in the same amount of time.

Last one I had was 360/mo with trade-in and down payment. It's paid for now.

A guy can spend $80k on a new pickup these days. I'd hate to finance that.

I haven’t had a truck payment since 2005. Was looking at some new trucks recently, and I don’t care what you trade in, payments aren’t going to be $500.

I don't know how people survive with the endless list of monthly payments it takes to keep up with the joneses. $0 a month here for autos. We only buy used, and old, with cash.

When you find that Chevy keep the underside oiled and she won't rust. Even in MI.

The last new vehicle I purchased was a 1979 Jeep Cherokee, paid cash with a fur check. I buy used now.
