In Wisconsin if you refuse to return to work when called back, benefits are denied so long as the employer follows up on your claim. Now if you lie when claiming, it can also result in suspension of future benefits and a fine.

Employers review that status frequently as they are impacted by the number of claims filed for etc.

I am a re-seller and with the onsite auctions being shut down (I hate online auctions), got work for a local tree removal guy. I had many years logging and he loves me. It is grueling work for a 57 year old but the money is nice. Hes afraid Im going to quit when my gig comes back and gives me bonuses, incentive, etc LOL. For the life of me/us we cant find anybody worth their salt to work that isn't already working should I get back to my regular job. I will help him as much as I can but full time is out of the question.

3 auto plants (Toyota and it's suppliers) just called back close to 7,000 workers and that's just what I know about . Media won't give updated figures for sure. UNLESS they can go in the negative narrative

The unemployment numbers come from the Department of Labor.

The unemployment rate numbers are not going down.

Wait until the PPP money runs out, it will get worse.
