I'm gonna vote for you Jim....I was pretty hard on you in the civil war thread,
and you held up very well.

The ability to take, and throw a punch, is a redneck trait.

When we moved up here my oldest Sister was a Sophomore in High School. They gave her all her books and stuff and she said she needed a poke for her books. They laughed long enough to see her going through the door. She never went back lol.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Redneck-ish... Those exhibiting red neck traits, but not having the cultural background and enlightenment to
reach redneck nirvana.

ISH, regarding a true Redneck, is close but no cigar. You may have similar traits, but you ain't one. Cracker for instance is another southern term that morphed into a racial slang by northern people. Up here some call all whites cracker, but it actually refers to southern white rural people. Bottom line, if your above Kentucky imo, you ain't a Redneck.

I dunno James. You've got to have at least one truck on blocks in the front yard, preferably with a hound living under it.

That’s a real good start RM. I am of the same philosophy; proud to be a redneck.

I didn’t even have to teach my granddaughter to be one, here she is swinging with her pet chicken. She’s Korean and one day will make a fine redneck.

Amen to that lug. I got a little hunting cabin in southern Ohio and I swear when I get there it's like I never left the hills of East Tenn, bunch of good ole boys up there too.
