If they are already coated why do anything to them. Maybe just take them to the car wash and wash them down to get any factory oil off of them. You might just be better off asking the No BS people.

I first adjust the pans so they lay flat then put a little bow string wax on the shelf. That’s about it. The pans on mine didn't need adjusted and the bow wax brought the pan tension down to where I wanted it.

They said to air them out, and then wax if I wanted, I didn't ask about cleaning after a season's use, all I know is boil, dye, and wax, I ran them last season and they look like the day they came with multiple catches. I just set them the first round. Sprayed them off at the car wash when I was done with them and will run them again. Don't over complicate it.
